   Wedding Cake information

What size cake will I need? 

You will need what is called a "wedding or reception slice". The standard serving for a wedding cake is a 1x2x4" slice. Cake can be made of a different flavors in each tier although I highly recommend only two flavors, more than two can be overwhelming for your guest palate. 

 

-What is your basic wedding cake price?

Starts at $4.00 per serving, fondant is 5.00- 5.50 per slice.   More detailed decoration may incur an additional cost.

 

-I specialize in custom designed cakes meant to dazzle and delight your guests, from an artistic standpoint. Because every one of my cakes is custom designed, pricing is highly variable. The best way to get pricing information for your wedding is to call/text or email me and discuss your ideas.

 

- How far in advance do I need to place my order?

For weddings please order 3 to 6 months prior to your date. I will book a year in advance. 

 

- What are my payment options?

 50 percent of the total cost of your cake will put you on my calendar. Full balance is due according to the contract agreement. Please ask me for my payment plan options.

 

-Do I have to buy the cake stand, pillar or plates for my cake?

If you are interested in renting a cake stand, pillars or plates please let me know. The rental fee is $ 30-100.  A refundable return deposit of $100 will be  returned to you when all rentals are returned the day after your event before 3pm. If not returned the next day and before 2pm you will lose the deposit. NO EXCEPTIONS. 

 

- Do you Deliver? 

Highly recommended for cakes over 3 tiers. Delivery charge is $100 for a 50 miles range, over 50 miles will be charge .60 cents per mile.

 

- Do you provide fresh real flowers?

 No, my prices don’t include fresh flowers.

 

-How far in advance should I schedule my tasting?

All of my tasting cakes are baked to order, so I require a minimum of 3 days notice before are consultation  appointments. If you’re wondering if it’s too early to start thinking about a cake, it probably isn’t! Six months before your wedding is a good guideline.

 

- What is your tasting fee?

A $30.00 tasting cost non-refundable is required that must be paid at the time of the consultation  appointment (couple's price) for more people additional $5 per person, please let me know in advance, maximum 4 people). 

 

 

- What is a "Kitchen Cake"?

Is a rectangle "half sheet" cake, it is called "Kitchen Cake" instead of sheet cake because they are the same height as a tier of wedding cake - approx 4" tall. These are NOT a single layer sheet cake. Double Layer Sheet Cakes with NO Decoration is a less expensive way to add servings of cake for your wedding. These "Kitchen Cakes" are held in the kitchen area, then cut and served along with your wedding cake, basic price $3 per serving, servings per kitchen cake = 54. 

 

- What is your refund policy?

I am NOT responsible for the cake or ANY damage occurs to the cake once it has left my hands of delivery, and has been set up by me at the venue,  if choose to pick the cake up yourself you will be responsible for the cake.  I will give you instructions of how to transport the cake, but I am not responsible if instructions are not followed. NO EXCEPTIONS.
